Making Math
Finally Click.

Hi, I'm Clint — a secondary mathematics educator passionate about helping every student discover that math isn't just a subject to survive. It's a way of thinking, problem-solving, and understanding the world around us.

Clint Bosshardt, Math Educator
"Every student can learn math. My job is to find the door that opens it for them."

A Teacher Who Remembers What It Was Like to Not Get It

I'm Clint Bosshardt, an aspiring secondary math educator completing my degree and preparing to student teach in Spring 2027. My approach is built on one simple belief: every student can do math — they just need the right environment and the right guide.

I design lessons around real-world connections, low-stakes exploration, and genuine curiosity. I want my classroom to be a place where asking "wait, why does that work?" is the best thing a student can do. Math clicked for me when a teacher made it matter — and that's the experience I want to create for every student I work with.

Student-Centered Growth Mindset Real-World Math Collaborative Learning Inquiry-Based
Outside the Classroom — I'm an avid traveler (Japan is just the beginning), singer, pianist, and avid Magic: The Gathering player. These pursuits — from the math of mana curves to the physics of sound — constantly bring me fresh real-world examples to share with my students.

Explore the Curriculum

Each course connects mathematical concepts to real-world applications, with lesson plans, resources, and a class calendar updated regularly throughout the semester.

Grade 7

Math 7

Ratios, proportional relationships, integers, basic geometry, and statistical thinking — the building blocks that power all the math that follows.

Real-World Math Unit pricing at the grocery store, reading maps, planning a road trip budget — 7th grade math is everywhere.

Grade 7–8

Pre-Algebra

Variables, expressions, equations, and the foundational thinking patterns that make Algebra possible. Where abstract math begins to feel powerful.

Real-World Math Calculating discounts, converting recipes, figuring out which streaming plan is the better deal — pre-algebra shows up daily.

Grade 8–9

Algebra I

Functions, linear equations, systems, and quadratics. This is the language of mathematics — and every student will leave here able to speak it fluently.

Real-World Math Interpreting data trends, calculating loan interest, understanding how social media algorithms work. Algebra is everywhere.

Grade 10–11

Pre-Calculus

Trigonometry, polynomial functions, conics, and an introduction to limits. The gateway to Calculus and college-level mathematical thinking.

Real-World Math Engineering, architecture, music (yes, trig is in sound waves), animation, and game design all rely on Pre-Calc concepts.
